676805 2008-06-09 10:39:00 for some reason i cannot open any pdf files in adobe reader, either ones stored on my machine or ones accessed via web pages. i have done the control panel, folder options open pdf with adobe thingy but to no avail.

ideas please

676806 2008-06-09 10:41:00 Highlight a PDF file / right mouse / open with / select adobe reader.

Then tick the bottom option.

676807 2008-06-09 10:57:00 thanks that works for the stuff on my machine but it does not work with files accessed through web pages - you know the sort pdf instructions to do things user manuals etc. globe (11482)
676808 2008-06-09 19:41:00 I would change adobe reader for either Sumatra or Foxit reader since neither have the adobe security issues and are only 2-3mb installed and not adobe's 80+mb gary67 (56)
