676775 2008-06-09 08:16:00 Hi there, well I'm having a bit of a problem with streaming radio from the net, well streaming one particular radio stream TwistedFM which is a local Auckland station. Now I can Stream practically any Net radio around Shoutcast, Icecast servers no problem, but not Twisted, so I thought Bad stream maybe.
So I got a few mates to try it and it works fine for them, except one, who has the same Router as me DLink DSL-502T now I know allot of people are going to say thats a crap modem get another one but It works fine apart from this.
Allot of net radio stations use Port 8000, I have that port open on my Router
as I said all other Stations are fine.
On check a little deeper I have found one thing different about the Twisted stream, it uses the WWW the others just http.
Eg (www.twisted.co.nz:8000)
and HumanFM: (stream.humanfm.co.nz:8000)
Thats really all I can find different about Twisted and other Stations
I've pretty much done every thing I can think of apart form beat it with a rock ;) so if any one out there can shed some light on the matter I would be very greatful.... :banana
