676497 2008-06-08 23:35:00 Hey, i have just brought a game off a mate, (prince of persia) and when i go to install it it asks for your login details for Ubi.com, so i went and signed up for it, and when i enter my details again it comes up with "you must be in the us to play".... a lil unfair since you use to see it in stores here... So i signed up for an Us account and i type it in and it still says it....

I have tryed doing it with the internet unplugged but it just errors out... Is there any way i can hide my ip so it wont know where my ip is coming from?

Or any way to get round having to be in USA? I dont want to move there!!!!

Thanks,

William

676502 2008-06-09 00:52:00 Download an use "Hotspot Shield", which will create a VPN to a US based server, making it look as though you are in the states. This is free, but it is ad-supported. somebody (208)

676504 2008-06-09 04:31:00 They may have blocked Hotspot Shield because of that reason perhaps?

If it was me, I'd try a US high-anon proxy from somewhere like this (www.samair.ru) directly in your browser connection.

and I'd give few different ones a try if it didn't work first time before giving up on it - proxy's can change their anon level and pass on your ip even after being classed as "high-anon" one time.
