676405 2008-06-08 02:22:00 hey i just got broadband at home and my parents want a way to stop my 13 yr old brother going to sites that he shold not, gave internet explorer's content guard a try but drove my parents mad because they had to type the password in everytime they wanted to view a page on their account, really need help oh and would prefer it to be free nedkelly (9059)

Are you looking at a filter software that blocks certain websites in general? Or just specific URLs (i.e. blacklist)? You can choose to follow Speedy's advice. Failing which, you can manually key in the URLs into the host file.

Put the PC in the lounge, disable access when they aren't home and he is.

Nothing like proper parental super vision for teens. Bit like parents actually used to do back in the 70's and 80's.
