403818 2005-11-12 19:05:00 Since free to air TV is crap now since pay TV came along, has anyone seen "Danger man" (£54.34) on DVD? I used to see it many years ago on monochrome TV, no doubt TV1 or should I say AKTV2

Years before James Bond hit the screen, cult classic television show Danger Man set the standard for all the ultra-cool British spy series that followed. The show was first broadcast in 1960 and lasted for two years before returning in 1964 as an hour-long series renamed Secret Agent. Patrick McGoohan (The Prisoner, BRAVEHEART) starred as international man of mystery John Drake, a special NATO operative travelling the globe on top-secret espionage missions. This set contains all 39 episodes.

403820 2005-11-12 19:29:00 Normal Sky, is just as crappy as free to air TV.

It's a waste of money. I'm glad I stopped Sky.

403824 2005-11-12 20:31:00 I just spent most of this year getting Brittas Empire series 1 to 7 one by one out from the UK that was a good funny series, soon you can get the box-set slightly cheaper .

Someone from sky keeps ringing me up every so often asking me to waste money getting sky, I would prefer to spend my entertainment money on a DVD, then you can watch your "paid" entertainment when you want too and not forced to watch something at a specific time of the week . I am just think what to get next, most likely a pre-sky ex-tv series .

403825 2005-11-12 22:00:00 I like normal Sky. Yes there are occasions where nothing much appeals or its something we have seen but it beats the competition.
And we don't watch movies hardly anyway.

403826 2005-11-13 00:30:00 Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas.

Why did Hunter S. Thompson paint the wall with his brains? Sucks really, crazy, crazy guy. He had his remains shot out of a cannon.

403827 2005-11-13 01:44:00 My DVD collection has blossomed recently following a nice windfall of shoppingmall vouchers. In addition to a hadnful of CDs, I've recently acquired:

Kinght Rider Season One
Knight Rider Season Two
Stargate Season One
Stargate Season Two
Stargate Season Eight (not on our screens yet, no thanks to TVNZ)
Ultimate Matrix Box Set
MASH Season Two
MASH Season Three
Black Books Seasons 1, 2, 3
Back to the Future 4-disc Box Set
Python Pack - (Holy Grail, Life of Brian, And Now For Something Completely Different)

Soon hope to acquire Yes, Minister and Yes, Prime Minister.

I don't know how much TV is in that lot, but Knight Rider Season Two is about 1,167 minutes, according to the box, so roughly multiply that out, and I figure I'm pretty much set for summer, autumn, and winter, by which stage I'm bound to be completely Hoffed out.
