403730 2005-11-11 22:33:00 I have recently purchased a DVD recorder, Pioneer DVR-630H-S and would like to be able to transfer my mp3 collection on my PC to the Jukebox. Have tried various ways, but without success.

Has someone succeeded in doing this?

403731 2005-11-11 23:05:00 What kind of connections, has the recorder got on it?

USB 2? Firewire? Ethernet? Anything?

403732 2005-11-11 23:28:00 USB2, although have just been told that this cannot read DVD+R discs, will get a -R and have a go at that..

Also thought it would be able to read a FAT formatted disc via USB2 in the camera connection.. no go there either..

403733 2005-11-11 23:53:00 Umm, depending on what version of windows is using FAT .

Win XP should be fine . Only 98 SE + supports USB 2 .

Altho, depending on how big the file is, FAT/FAT32 has a limit of 4 GB for a file . NTFS doesn't have a limit .

Are you using Win XP / 2k?

403735 2005-11-12 03:24:00 So, what does Win 2000/XP do, when u connect the recorder to a USB port?

Does it say its connected, show the name of the recorder .

Does an icon appear in My computer, then what?

How exactly are u trying to copy MP3's to it??

What program are you using?

You're not just dropping and dragging MP3's to it, are you?
