I hate to be a downer, but generally petitions work best if they're a less general than that. You want "Telecom to be regulated more" - that's just great. What do you mean by that? You want WHO to regulate them? How is this going to happen? What are the steps needing to be taken to make this work? P.S. You misspelled "Representatives" |

Go and do some sums, work out the costs - they aren't a charity - they're there to make a profit. There was an article just the other day about Korea - msnbc.msn.com If they can't do it economically Telecom sure can't. We have a lot less people and are more scattered. And as for your website you go on about you hate jap cars but you own one and are buying another. Bit like how you hate Telecom but are still using them. |

| 403268 | 2005-11-10 21:19:00 | what new infrastructure??? adsl2?not in our lifetime. but what defeats me is how ihug can be selling a plan with twice the cap as telecom $30 cheaper than telecom and still be making a profit. Telecom hasnt had hardly any cost in infrastructure, hell, they were awarded the project probe contract to upgrade the exchanges and they still tried to charge communities! take a look at an isp in australia's prices for adsl 2, then compare the speed and cap and price to telecom, its disgusting bc.whirlpool.net.au | Tux (606) | ||
| 403269 | 2005-11-10 21:24:00 | what about adam's internet, 24mbit down, 1mbit up, 40gb cap, for cheaper than telecom's 2mbit down, 128kb up with a 10gb cap http://adsl2.adam.com.au/ | Tux (606) | ||

Never... something (i can't remeber what) has shown that there are more people getting disgruntled with Telecom. At this point I would try to think of some little guy who stood up against the big company and won... but I can't... hmmm... Erin Brockovich? but she's not a guy.. lol |
