403250 2005-11-13 07:37:00 That is one crap site. Slows my PC down to a snail. I only used to use their site for the listings anyway. Gladly you can find them elsewhere too. Bazman (6587)

403253 2005-11-13 08:39:00 What a *ra* website. Takes ages on rural dialup (and I know what 'ages' means on rural dialup). Black on white. Stupidest thing since monetarism. And all the other pages are too slow. Looks like a budget porn site. :o mark c (247)
403254 2005-11-13 10:12:00 I think it's that banner at the top of the page with the moving squares it's pretty resource intensive. Overall it's a poorly designed website. Who uses a totally black background these days? joshjnz (7844)
403255 2005-11-13 11:38:00 I think it loads faster than this web site www.tvnz.co.nz
but TVNZ does not have the repulsive black background and is worth going too.

Yip, same deal with CPU usage, As long as the site is open, even if not being viewed CPU usage is maxed.

As for layout, the biggest stuff up is the description of shows that comes up when the curser is over the show menu on the left. The descriptions come up on the top of the page over the calender and the picture above it. I'm sure this was good for the webdesigner with a massive screen, but for me on my little laptop, it's not good as the descriptions are not within my visable screen if i put the curser over late night shows.

3 active flash animations in one page? Whose bloody silly idea was that? Did no one tell the designer that there are still people with less than a gig of CPU about? I have nothing against flash, indeed i like it, but not when its for its own sake!

i see this (www.millerton.co.nz)
