Though I am running AVG8 myself on 4 PC's, one of which is near identical to John's PC, and none of them are acting up in anyway, In fact I'd say Im very happy with version 8. Either way, The Anti-virus was next in the firing line if she was still acting up after the system restore, John had installed a number of programs that could potentuialy cause conflict. And on that note, I asked him to PM me when the system restore had done its thing, Lets hope it hasn't gone badly..... |

| 676494 | 2008-06-09 02:45:00 | Yep, sweet. I think it's a software conflict, AVG doesn't like something, probably a common bit of software, and somehow it causes it to delete or corrupt stuff it shouldn't. Just speculation anyway, theres is definitely something amiss with AVG 8.0. |
