404018 2005-11-12 21:15:00 I do believe my thread under the heading of AB might have been misguided and I do apologise to anyone I spoiled the game for.
but I have two points.
1) what other result did you expect?
2)I still don't believe it is right for a mod to modify a thread started by me or any other forum member unless it's in breach of the rules (pressf1.co.nz)
Wether you agree or disagree about my posting, we don't really want this forum turning into a nanny state, like I hear so many of us complain about the goverment for doing the same thing.

404019 2005-11-12 21:27:00 No need to apologise, the front pages on the papers give it away. Should we ask them to apologise for that? bob_doe_nz (92)
404020 2005-11-12 21:29:00 Worst apology in the history of the internet...... Metla (12)
404021 2005-11-12 21:41:00 Worst apology in the history of the internet......
Do you expect him to apologise for that?

404022 2005-11-12 21:52:00 I cant see any reason for an apology thread, let alone one that isn't an apology but just a swipe at others, and a reafirmation of his position.

In short, who cares?

Not me.

404023 2005-11-13 00:56:00 After reading people views on this thread (pressf1.co.nz) that plainly says everything on tv is crap, plus the countless PM's from forum members in support, I now officially withdraw my apology  plod (107)

Well you could start up another thread to apologise for the initially making the apology that you've just withdrawn.
There will be some people who may object to you withdrawing this apology. So to keep them happy, perhaps you'll need to start up yet another thread to apologise specifically to them for the withdrawal of your initial apology.
Then there will be people complaining about you making too many apology threads so you'll need to post a one-off thread apologising for that and apologising in advance for any future apologies that may arise.

404026 2005-11-13 02:18:00 I now officially withdraw my apologyI seem to recall some other thread that had the words "Plod" and "idiot" in the same sentence. I think the case and reasoning has been doubled. Greg (193)
404027 2005-11-13 04:28:00 plod, I hate to say it but I agree with Metla, this hardly seems like an apology at all.

Thread locked, end of discussion, we dont need another flame war
