| 678035 | 2008-06-13 03:19:00 | HP Pavilion dv5000 notebook trying to install HP Photosmart C4180 error: Print Spooler: This service is stopped & needs to be running for installation.... Went to Services, right clicked on Printer Spooler: error: Could not start the Printer Spooler service on the local computer. Error 2: can not find the file specified. ran SFC virus scan with Avast, found 1 infection & deleted it. removed Adobe Acrobat Reader v7... Haven't found anything in this forum or Google that helps me work through this. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. |

| 678038 | 2008-06-13 03:50:00 | What version of Windows is on it?? You may have to find someone with the same version of windows, get them to copy spoolsv.exe to a USB flash drive / floppy and then copy it to C:\windows\system32 If you do a search for spoolsv.exe is it on the hdd? |
