| 677675 | 2008-06-12 00:57:00 | In XP, I could create a 'Toolbar' for Office 2007 just next to the system tray on the bottom left hand of the desktop. I found it to be very handy in accessing Word, Excel, etc. In Vista, I tried to follow the same technique, but could not create the short-cut toolbar for my Office modules. Could someone please enlighten me on this if it is possible at all? Thanks. |

When I right-click the Office item (from the All Programs menu) there isn't any 'create short-cut' in the drop-down menu (like in XP). How do I create a short-cut in Vista? :o |

I may have to leave the short-cut on the desktop as the 'Toolbar' is pointing to it. |

The QL creates shortcuts to the original file, not a shortcut to the shortcut, so deleting those icons on the desktop will not mess with the QL. |
