406101 2005-11-21 11:11:00 My grownup daughter receives many objectional text messages which are not appreciated from an old schoolfriend.
Is there a way to block a particular caller as there is with e-mail?
It is easy to block an unwanted e-mail address but can a similar approach be adopted with cell phone txt messages

Suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

406102 2005-11-21 18:13:00 ring her cell phone provider and make a complaint?
or delete all messages from this person without opening them.

406103 2005-11-21 19:30:00 Telecom were getting really tough on that last year (or perhaps the year before?) So leave the messages on the phone in case telecom want to see them & make a complaint. They will almost certainly act on it. I'm assuming the offender is with telecom? Greven (91)

Oops, sorry. I didn't really explore the website, I've only met its poster on my school's library wall.

Cheers :)

Looks as though there's no easy solution from her phone.
Will try T/Com.
Thanx again

406109 2005-11-24 01:56:00 You shouldn't need to use Telecom.

You know who it is. It's an offence to use a telephone to annoy people. Go to the police.

Even if they don't prosecute, they will probably say a few things which might start the "old schoolfriend" start the painful process of growing up.
