405944 2005-11-21 00:20:00 Well it seems that Stuff - New online service to help lenders (www.stuff.co.nz) has even got these terms confused.

I thought a lender was someone who loans money to borrowers and the site www.sorted.org.nz service is to the be a benefit to lenders / not borrowers; according to Stuff.

405945 2005-11-21 00:26:00 That's bad, I can remember being corrected at primary school for saying something like "Can I lend your pencil please?"
It was a sort of colloquial phrase commonly used by school children in Brum, using lend instead of borrow.

Now if they had used "lendee".......
