677745 2008-06-13 00:25:00 Reading your IP addresses above one device has IP of 192.168.1.254 and the Linksys 192.168.1.1

If this is still the case then you should be able to access the Linksys via that IP. If the Linksys is now on a different subnet then you wiill not be able to access it.

Yup, when I switched the Linksys back to 192.168.1.1 I could access the configuration page again.

One slight problem... this wireless connection is slow as molasses. :annoyed:

It downloads at ~6kb/s, and pages take a very long time.

What is your signal strength?

677748 2008-06-13 02:04:00 Have you got the wireless open or secure?

Try it open for a start and test. If still slow do a search on the Linksys site. There may be a firmware upgrade or some settings that could be changed.

I have the WAG54G and had to change the default wireless settings.

677749 2008-06-13 02:06:00 Scratch that .

Did a few power cycles, and set the router on a different channel, and set it to only accept G signals . Also found that WPA TKIP was much slower than WPA AEP encryption . :illogical

Downloading at ~50kb/s now, anyway . :wub
