678872 2008-06-16 07:25:00 Hey, i keep having a slight problem, i uses a Ip hider at a WiFi cafe a few weeks ago (dont want anyone seeing my emails ;) :yuck:) And i have this issue.

When ever i open up Firefox 3 (it was also doing it on FF2) i need to go into proxy settings and change it to No Proxys....

It keeps setting its self to this... Attached file: &@^ Proxy settings!!!.jpg (www.imagef1.net.nz) (55 KB)

Its really annoying as i keep having to go in and change the settings when ever i open it up... and as i turn my laptop on any off alot (school) yea....:groan:

It has been the only problem i have ever had with FF!!

:thanks,

William :)

678876 2008-06-17 21:39:00 What was the "IP Hider" that you used? This is most likely the cause since it will use a proxy to "hide" your IP address.
If you installed a program to do this, disable or uninstall it.
