I would be interested in buying the lot off you. But, it would help if at least one of the computers worked as was the 48k version. I am wanting a spectrum to learn to write BASIC on, so depending on the above and how much you are looking to sell for I could be interested. Regards, Shomenno |

Cheers I working ZX Spectrum is a museum piece...... they go on trade me for over $200 if you just want to learn basic then have a look for a basic version for windows.. maybe even visual basic.... your question is like me saying, "I am wanting to learn to drive a car, where can I buy a model T ford?" |

| 678451 | 2008-06-15 06:40:00 | Er.........doesn't have to be a spectrum for Basic, you could do Basic on anything. Friend uses some form of original basic - NOT Visual Basic on his XP PC. Can't remember its name though....... |

| 678453 | 2008-06-15 23:22:00 | Another option would be to go for something like WinVICE, which is an emulator for the Commodore range of machines (VIC-20, C64 etc). http://www.viceteam.org/ I think there are some freely available C64 programming manuals floating around too, so you can do some Basic programming. As an added bonus you can download and play all those great C64 games titles too. http://arnold.c64.org/ |
