408443 2005-11-28 22:22:00 I need a hard drive to use to take out quite often in the upcoming holidays. Does anyone have any sitting at home ~10gb (or more the better :)) that they wouldn't mind giving me for free or cheap. 2.5" Laptop HDD would be idea, but I guess anything will do.

If there is even an external casing to go with it, that would be superb -saves me buying that separately. As a say, I don't really have much to spend -yes, TradeMe is out of my budget sorry.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thought about it, but I'd need it continously till at least after mid-Jan. Does anyone rent out iPods or external hard drives by any chance?

i'm just going by your name - if you are a techie, then you should already have these as tools of the trade, or have plenty of spares. as it is i have about 30x 10gb to use as spares, but no way are they free, as i can make $$ out of them.

408447 2005-11-29 01:32:00 Just pulled a 20Gb Samsung out of a rebuild here - the lady could well sell it - $10 or $20. Nothing wrong with it - she's getting an 80gb put in. pctek (84)
408448 2005-11-29 02:39:00 No I'm not a real techie ;)

Pctek> Can you ask if the lady would like to sell it? I'm assuming it's a normal size one isn't it? I'd consider it anyway. Thanks.
