You would be much better off learning a real programming language (or even one of the more modern scripting languages). Whetever the language, a Spectrum is probably not the best hardware to use. Learning is hard enough even with a reasonable keyboard and screen display. :D If you are determined on BASIC, there's a file around called "olddos.zip" which unpacks to most of the old DOS commands, including QBASIC. This works on XP : I've been using it because some code to download many kilobytes to a microcontroller needs it. |
