406703 2005-11-23 09:39:00 Yeah, well.........
I'm a long-time season ticket holder at Jade.
I was pretty pissed that for the Lion's tour I couldn't have my Platinum Plus seat (the best one in the house, I reckon) because it had been given to some Pom who was there to watch his team lose, whereas I pay my annual fee every year, whether Canty wins or loses (mostly wins, yeehah).
So my sympathy is with the people who got pre-allocated seats.
They are probably long time Hurricane/Wgton supporters who deserve sympathy for supporting such an up and down team.
IMHO, they deserve first refusal of tickets for the 7's.

From DomPost 24/11
"Tournament director Steve Dunbar said yesterday that "more than 10,000" had been put up for sale. The allocation was slightly less than last year, when tickets for the public numbered between 10,000 and 11,000."

406705 2005-11-23 19:37:00 What nobody seems to realise is that the Rugby Bosses don't want too many locals at the game. They want to get all the tourists ,and their money, that they can.
Locals are just a nuiscance.
