678438 2008-06-14 23:06:00 My D: harddrive was removed because of it failing to continue working.
Now I get an installer trying to re-install Microsoft Office, because I couldn't uninstall it. I tried to uninstall, but as the information was obsolete, I couldn't do anything with it. Every time I boot up, the installer tries to install to D:, which is now my DVD Rom. I click cancel, and it cancels, and starts again once or twice. When I let it continue, it tries to install it to D:, but then says that there is not enough space.

I have tried CCleaner, and Ashampoo Uninstaller, but nothing works.
I run XP Home.

678439 2008-06-14 23:17:00 Go to This page here (support.microsoft.com) about a 1/3 of the way down the page, under More Information is the download link for Installer Cleanup.

Download it and install / go to start/all programs locate the new entry and run, locate the Microsoft office 2003 installer in the list, highlight it and click remove.

This will stop the windows installer from running every time. You will have to reinstall Office 2003 afterwards though.
If you are using Outlook, make sure you backup the .pst file other wise you may lose all emails.
