| 680270 | 2008-06-19 07:27:00 | Ive done a bit of a web search but I cant find the answer. Can an Asus M2A-VM HDMI motherboard take both Intel & AMD CPUs? And is there a limit to what level of CPUs it can take? Im a bit confused on this issue:horrified |

The motherboard should tell you a socket type. This tells you what CPUs it supports. The latest Intel chips are mostly based on a 775 socket. AMD's are on an AMD2+. |
