| 679137 | 2008-06-17 03:30:00 | Anybody had dealings with "Xtreme Computer Hardware" Their website looks quite a bit out of date I'm looking for someone to replace Ascent. They are getting far to slow for me. 11 Days since I ordered my new computer and they haven't even assembled it yet. Any other suggestions? |

Normally when ever I build PC's for people its around 5-7 from confirmed order to delivery , unless of course the person has requested some sort of component that's not in stock at the time from any vendors. |

Just the usual nonsense about waiting for parts that all arrived at once creating a jam. Yet I was notified that all my parts were there on the 9th. Then this morning they phoned me and said they would start assembling it tomorrow and I should have it by the end of the week. How long does it take you to assemble a computer? About an hour? I asked them how the managed to find the time to charge me for all the parts a week ago. That didn't help. |

That didn't help. 2 days to get all the parts here. 1/2 a day to build. Thats not just putting the hardware together though, install Windows, drivers, various bits of other software, configure and tweak and so on The 2 Shops I mentioned have excellent reputations. |
