410613 2005-12-06 07:44:00 Build a AMD or P4 system. It'll be cheaper than buying a system. Speedy Gonzales (78)
410614 2005-12-06 07:57:00 As a general idea, goto here (tradef1.co.nz) and look at the two new machines that metlas made. It sorta gives you a rough idea of what to expect bob_doe_nz (92)

410616 2005-12-06 08:38:00 lol stuff paying $3500 for a system.

You could build the same system, for 1/2.

That mobo isnt too popular according to the Asus forum. There's a lot of probs with this mobo.

You make sweeping statements. "You could build it for 1/2". No you couldn't. Not even taking the cheapest stores off Pricespy.
And as for the ASUS forum, you will find posts from people on ANY motherboard. Just beacuse some people had issues putting their graphics card or whatever in doesn't mean the board is a bag of manure.
The Deluxe did have issues with the chipset fan which is why they changed to the premium.
And as for 4Gb of ram, no it doesn't run as well as using 2. Same with other boards too.But you'll find its happier if you aren't trying to overclock the stuff.
