2005-12-01 11:51:00 | Just watched a DVD and the sound was terrible. I thought that the sound was supposed to be better on DVDs,what is the story? I await with baited breath for the answer to this quandary.

2005-12-01 12:34:00 | I havent yet come across a DVd with what I would call poor sound, sure some are better then others but.....Never something I would complain about. And I get my DVD's off the well used cheap shelves. How is it bad? Dull?, noisy?, faltering? Can't go to bed, Mrs Metla banned the laptop from that room.....

2005-12-01 12:41:00 | Just cant make out what they are saying, like it used to be on vcr,so I would say dull. When you can't take your laptop to bed, like I said to Billy these wives have got a lot to answer for.I mean to say. ;)

2005-12-01 12:46:00 | Are you running it through a TV or stereo, and when you say teh VCR, was this VCR running through the same sound system? And.........uh......How are your ears?

2005-12-01 12:53:00 | Running through tv and the vcr was running through same system. Ears not a 100% but can hear tv ok,sound not up tp tv standard.

2005-12-01 13:01:00 | hmmm....Futher testing required I would say, Plugging it into another audio syste would tell you pretty quickly wether its your TV or your DVD player, got a stereo handy? Audio should be far superior to TV broadcast, being a bit of a weird guy I from time to time close my eyes and listen to the audio while watching movies, Though thats being pumped through a tasty 5.1 amp and speaker system.....Audio extasy
