409221 2005-12-01 08:41:00 Anyone watch "Eating Media Lunch" this week?
The author of this new ground-shaking (or should that be rib-tickling) book was interviewed. No doubt it will get full coverage in "Uncensored" and "Investigate".

409223 2005-12-01 19:27:00 Some clever writers wanting to make $$ as an author often come up with crazy ideas for a book. Conspiracy or other whacko ideas SELL, especially in America.

As Tux says, Whats your point?
If it means there is some truth to Hitler was a British Agent, then I can only assume that you are the type that still uses IE without a firewall or AV and opens all bogus email attachments!

This is so true . . the Da-Vinci code which is a novel about a fictional conspiracy has people who beilive the conspiricy is true in the US . The author stated at the start of the novel quite clearly what he thought was true in the novel . (Basicly the setting and some of the groups mentioned)

Well, The Da Vinci Code does contain a lot of facts, but yes, there is a good dose of fiction as well . To sort fact from fiction, and for a very intelligent, enlightening read, try this book:

Secrets of the Code : The Unauthorized Guide to the Mysteries Behind the Da Vinci Code

Synopsis
Written in response to THE DA VINCI CODE, this nonfiction anthology examines several of the source materials used by Dan Brown in creating the bestselling--and controversial--thriller, and attempts to separate historical fact from fiction . Various pieces by scientists, theologians, and historians explore various issues raised by the book, including the true role Mary Magdalene and other women may have had in the early years of the Church, the nature of Mary Magdalene's relationship with Jesus, and whether Leonardo da Vinci actually belonged to a secret society .

If you don't give your views and post a silly statement, we will assume the worst. Well, thats is what I have learned to do here on PF1, since I follow the likes of Metla... :D

The best lies sail very close to the truth - that's what made the book appear believable. He's a good story teller but I thought Angels & Demons was better.
