| 408918 | 2005-11-30 07:48:00 | I thought I would carry out the recommendation in PC World page 99 - shows as Section 6. This is to add the extension of NoScript to give you control over Java-scripts. You are given a long web address and I quake at these because a small slip either from you or "them" and you have a problem. Found it easier - (1) Went to Firefox Home Page (2) In Firefox "Customize Your Browser" (sic) - hit on "Extensions" (3) In "Top Downloads" - No 2 is NoScript (4) Chose NoScript - very small - even on dial-up (which I do not have) Misty :) |

I can't pop in to the library and have a good read at the latest PCWorld Magazine. :annoyed: I have a subscription but you can view on the web if you wish. Though in the NZ Herald the other day they had an article which clearly said that it is harder to read text online than hard copy. The reason is that the fonts are not as clear yet. They then said that some company is on the verge of setting up fonts online that are as clear as hard copy. Misty :2cents: |
