| 408767 | 2005-11-30 05:07:00 | You are thinking of the hooligans, despised by all and not lionised. They are only termed hooligans when they upset enough people to get in the news, and they are still a subset of the fans, whose territory is defined by the team they support. Is lionised a word?, my much loved dictionary.com didn't think so.......... |

Is lionised a word?, my much loved dictionary.com didn't think so.......... Verb 1. lionise - assign great social importance to; "The film director was celebrated all over Hollywood"; "The tenor was lionized in Vienna" lionize, celebrate Bit of hair splitting going on here me thinks. I still think that it would be hard to find someone who would want to begin a game with a tribal practice, they may indeed become tribal as the game progress's,why most civilised people stay away.Or should I say me  |
