410366 2005-12-06 21:58:00 Weren't Motorhead in NZ not too long ago? Why did you have to go all the way to Aussie to see them?

Because I bought the concert and plane tickets 4 months before they announced they would also visit NZ, and the only reason they came to NZ was because the DJ from the rock talked them into it.

Then we also have 4 days basking in the glorious Queensland sun, Consuming huge amounts of Alcohol and watching all the.......Ladies go about their bizzo.Plus I have a heap of freinds in Brisbane, And Motley Crue headlined the show, And they were much better and heavier then I expected.

410368 2005-12-07 11:29:00 Wikipedia definition of "scalping":

the slang term for buying tickets to a public event such as a musical concert, show, or sporting event and then reselling them with the aim of making a profit, particularly a large one. It is often illegal, though it happens regularly, particularly with popular events. The person buying and re-selling the tickets is referred to as a "scalper". In British English such a person is called a "ticket tout".

In my book, for what it is worth, (ie my opinion is worth nothing), this is reprehensible behaviour.

410369 2005-12-08 01:48:00 It's a very innovative way of Lohsing to buy and later sell tickets at high price. When is the next big event in New Zealand? I might as well bulk-buying tickets in the future, only to make money out of it. :D

Cheers :)
Just be prepared to pay tax at 39% on the profits, James.
There's an article about this in the business section of The Press today.
