679861 2008-06-18 22:46:00 Have you tried installing it without any anti-virus stuff running? the_bogan (9949)
679862 2008-06-18 23:38:00 Sounds like your comps having some issues with the copy protection on that disc, or maybe one of the discs are just ruined. That was happening on my old one too, for some reason. The fix I eventually found was to rip images of the discs on to my HDD using Alcohol 120% (trial.alcohol-soft.com) and then using Daemon Tools (www.daemon-tools.cc) to run those images on Virtual Drives, with all the emulation options ticked (Safedisc, etc. - probably don't have to tick them all but I didn't know which one was right so I just done them all). My original CD's still never ran so I just ended up putting the images onto a disc (as in the image file itself, not extracting it) and everytime I want to play, I get Daemon Tools to mount that image onto a virtual drive. 679863 2008-06-19 00:43:00 If your PC freezes when trying to read the CD then the disc could be ruined

Any large scratches etc on it? if not, try holding your CD up to the light with the label facing away from you. can you see any little pinholes of light through it? if so, your CD is rotten...

My vote.....try cleaning the disc with a soft cloth...
