You can scan c the whole hdd if you mean with AVG.

I would still post a hijackthis log.

679853 2008-06-18 07:04:00 kk it wont let me copy it but i can tell you that the only bad things found were tracking cookies and thats it i dont think its a virus i must of delted somthing off the disc but what drifta123 (13881)

679855 2008-06-18 08:27:00 yah!! kk new prob me figad out the old one well not realy i left it for a bit now it ok, ok now me up to the part were it goes setup needs disc 2 so i put it in then it goes pretty laggy and sometimes glitches what is wrong it never used to do this!!!! it goes non responsive and the only way to close it is alt f4 or ctrl alt delte so why would this be doing this drifta123 (13881)

Any large scratches etc on it? if not, try holding your CD up to the light with the label facing away from you. can you see any little pinholes of light through it? if so, your CD is rotten...
