Afterall their equvalent are hankie waving morris dancers, who would only scare the metrosexuals in Auckland (I imagine they might leap over the boundaries to run on to the field and join them. ) Certinaly the british are just as if not more tribal than any new zealand rugby fraternity. Football holliganism, as mentioned above is almost a rite of passage to manhood in some low socio economic areas. |
