Please help me determine why I can no longer play audio CD's on my laptop DVD player , DVDs work well but not CDs .If I open up Musicmatch Jukebox it dosnt even think there is a CD in the tray and when I click on to My computer and click on DVD Ram Drive "D" it says That there is an I/O Device error.

Does it spin up OK when you put the CD in? Have you tried data (non-audio) CDs? |

Had a cd/dvd dual layer burner do exactly that recently (wouldn't see/play/burn cds but worked fine with dvds), got a new one from DSE under warranty. |
