| 679237 | 2008-06-17 04:56:00 | Hey, i just built my first computer today :] everything went smooth and is working except my audio ports. The only one that works is the rear and front green. The rear pink works but i have to yell into my mic in order for people to hear me. My case = www.newegg.com My mobo = www.newegg.com Ive updated all the drivers i can think of, switched the connector between HD and AC'97 but nothings working. Im not sure but i think i connected everything properly. Pics = i305.photobucket.com First pic is the 1394 and usb connectors that both lead to the front panel i305.photobucket.com Second pic is of the HD/ AC'97 connector. Am i plugging all the cords in the right spots? Bah i really need my mic to start working, any help would be appreciated greatly! |

| 679240 | 2008-06-17 05:09:00 | Welcome to Press F1 Docholiday - as long as every thing is wired up correctly - See if this works - This to get the front settings going, but you may have to adjust the settings to get your working. Front Audio Settings High Definition 1. In the task bar -Double click on the High Audio Speaker, usually orange in colour. 2. Select the Audio I/O tab 3. Click on the Blue circle with the white spanner 4. Tick “Disable Front Panel Detection” 5. Click OK. & Close Settings. See This Picture as well (www.imagef1.net.nz) |

| 679243 | 2008-06-17 06:11:00 | Look at the instructions I posted above #4, as long as its wired up correctly, the front ports usually wont work in HD until they have been set as per the instructions. | wainuitech (129) | ||
| 679244 | 2008-06-17 06:17:00 | Or open up realtek if your using it and check the playback boxes arent ticked for mute, then check you recording inputs are checked for mute. You may have to scroll through a few of them. | rob_on_guitar (4196) | ||
