its a philpis dvd player/recorder with a 160gb hdd

does anyone know?

680879 2008-06-21 11:41:00 You'll need to convert mkv (matroska video) to some video standard the player can read (vcd, divx, dvd etc) using something like this

Without converting it to a format it can read first

The link shows the formats supported if this is the correct model, and no it doesnt list .mkv files as playable.
