| 680858 | 2008-06-21 09:14:00 | A guy I know, wants to display the Actual Stock of his Video shop online, so if a title goes out, every hourly update reflects those titles still available. Im out of my depth here. Im guessing he will need two things. His "Wizard" video retailing program to export his stock in Excel format, currently limited to a csv file. Then a AutoFTP program to send it to the server. A webpage that incorporates that CSV file into its content. The problem with displaying a csv file, while its nice and compact, when viewed in a text format, is not pleasent or easy reading. But, while he has 2500 titles, in nearly 20 categories, and his Wizard program only exports one csv file, I can see how its possible to separate the titles into their respective slots. Ah well, anybody experienced with this sort of work? John in Mosgiel. |
