680800 2008-06-21 05:07:00 Hey guys,

well i have just bought myself a full hd LCD 37" tv and heve connected my computer up to it! but i cant get a max resolution of 1920x1080 i can only get a measly 1280x1024! i know my computer can handle more as on my normal computer lcd i can get it to 1440xsomething rather!

Has anyone got any advice/tips to help me out!!

Thanks in advance

680803 2008-06-21 07:26:00 How are you connecting the PC to the LCD?
Sometimes only the HDMI input will allow the max resolution of 1920x1080.

680807 2008-06-21 11:05:00 Do you have DVI output from your video card, try a DVI-HDMI adapter/cable (think your video card needs to be compatible/capable to do this; what card do you have?). feersumendjinn (64)

For anything up to 1080p you need to use HDMI. maccrazy (6741)
