| 680721 | 2008-06-21 04:15:00 | hello all, I'm using avg3 at present & have for a long time with not a problem, now I see that I should d/ld avg8 to get continuous updates etc. & I think it said something about paying for it, now I'm a pensioner & can't afford to spend money on this sort of stuff. QUESTION, is there a compatable program that's free & as good as avg ??? also what about this F/Fox 3, do I need to change ??? there appears to be problems with it, or should I wait for awhile???? thanks in advance, don. |

You don't have to pay for AVG8. Personaly I don't particularly like Avast. They are all getting too bloated by trying to do everything. I have been using FF3 for quite a while now and certainly wouldn't go back to 2. |

| 680725 | 2008-06-21 07:38:00 | Firefox 3 is fine. It certainly doesn't have any problems and quite a lot better than FF2. I would always go for Avast Home over AVG. AVG isn't too reliable IMHO. |
