680708 2008-06-21 02:31:00 I've spent four hours trying to set up dual displays. Now it's time to ask for help.

I have 2 Viewsonic displays. A wide screen 22" and a 19" . Both LCD's

My GPU is a GF 9800 GX2. ( Asus EN9800GX2 TOP/G/2DI/1G, GeForce 9800 GX2, 1024MB, DDR3, PCIe-
16, TV out, DVI, HDTV, SLI ready)

The Problem: My computer refuses to recognise two monitors. Both will work properly individualy, but when both are installed only the one plugged into the primary outlet responds. The second one shows the pilot light only.

I am running the NVidia control panel and it only sees one monitor and does not give the option of selecting the second one.

These two monitors worked perfectly with my previous computer.

I have an Intel Core 2 Extreme Quad QX9650 3.0 GHz, 1333MHz FSB, Socket 775, and an Asus Striker II Extreme, Socket 775, NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra Chipset,
1600MHz FSB, 4xDIMM DDR3, 3xPCIe-16, 2xPCI, 2xPCIe-1, 10xUSB2,
Firewire, Audio, ATA, RAID, ATX.

Anyone got any suggestions.

Apart from this problem the computer runs perfectly.

Thank you very much in anticipation
