| 680390 | 2008-06-20 00:55:00 | I am still running MS Office 2000 Professional mainly for word, excel and access database development. If I upgrade to Office 2007 Profession can I (custom) install it along side my existing Office 2000 version. What conflicts am I likely to experience? Perhaps I either leave well alone or else do a single 2007 install? Thanks in advance Chris |

For instance in 2007 I can open files created in earlier Word docs and templates but if I allow 2007 Word to save in its native format the person at the other end will probably not be able to read said file unless a file converter is installed. If you are saving a file in Word 2007 there are a number of "Save As" options. More info needed. :-) |

Cool... that's all I really need to know.. a great logical question from the 2007 installer.. who would have thought ms to have had such insight.. I take it the 2003 and 2007 co-habit OK then. :thanks Chris |
