| 680318 | 2008-06-19 11:42:00 | Hello, folks here. It seems that this forum is helpful and informative.Do you think that I am lucky?It could be:lol: .. I stored many important documents on the "C" driver and I have a pass word but forgot to remember. I checked my PC and spotted a Spy file in the registry. Trying to wipe off that Spy file ,I failed to do so. Thus, I reinstalled Windows XP and logged on the System files to check my important documents stored there but XP system still abstains me from getting in there. It blocks these documents along with a message pops out saying" XP user is not accessed to..or not allowed to get in there"!? Is there any solution to retrieve my documents from the "C" driver? | 680320 | 2008-06-19 11:48:00 | Umm, if you reinstalled Windows, I take it you reinstalled XP over what was already installed? And you didnt do a clean install?? Otherwise you would have killed those documents If you did do this, that spy file (WHAT was this file called)? is probably still there. Did you scan the hdd with a virus scanner or something? |

Yes, I reinstalled Windows over what was already in there provided that it keeps my documents untouched. No, I was unable to log on my documents .The system is rejecting me not to access to them.It says :"XP user is not allowd or accessed to "? Thank you for your help. Ayed |
