I live about 2-3 kms away and I can hear and feel the din from the piledriving.

It woke me up this morning at 4:30am!

I'm sure if wasn't my imagination - I just can't believe that they can get away with doing it at such ungodly hours.

But make sure that you weren't imagining it before complaining. ;) (The local council would be the first place to try).
