And interestingly I have switched from shopping at Pak n Save where I would spend around $200 - $240 per fortnight. I now do online shopping with Woolworths and have yet to spend more than $201. And I buy more or less the same stuff each time too. |

No products to temp you on the ends of the aisles, not strolling past and see something you didn't come for but you pick it up and put it in the trolley anyway. And i'd guess you get a running total everytime you add something to the online cart. |

And i'd guess you get a running total everytime you add something to the online cart. I knew someone would say that. The first time I used it I entered everything off my last Pak n Save list - came out slightly cheaper. Anyway I tend to not buy the junk at the ed of the aisles - I like to cook and therefore can't stand 99% of that packaged stuff. Don't buy lollies or baking or any of that kind of thing. One reason it probably works for me though is that I don't buy any meat from supermarkets. |

I spend at least twice that... and there's usually only me, don't eat cakes/sweets/no booze/no 'ready made' meals. I take it that you're really really slim! |

Operating wth small margins, they need high turnover so advertising is essential. Not hypocrisy, just good business sense. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
