| 410918 | 2005-12-07 17:10:00 | . I can't blame my Dad. He was bringing in twenty pounds a week back in 1952 and that was not a bad wage back then. That's $40 for those that don't remember anything prior to 1967. £20 a week "not bad", I would think it is £dam£ £good£ £wages£ in 1952, was he head news reader for BCNZ, In 1970 $40 a week wages was good money, I wonder what a house or car was then in 1952, I think from memory you could get a brand new Ford car in 1970 for about between $3,000 and $4,000. |

She plays poker with us every 2nd Tuesday each month. Nice girl. Terrible taste in clothes and a bit too obsessed with oral hygiene for my tastes but very good at what she does .... |

| 410921 | 2005-12-07 19:43:00 | Of course Santa exsists! He was created by man, along with God and thier good friend to devil to help personify concepts such as good, evil, and in Santas case (AKA Satan on a sledge) to personify thinly disguised greed..... "Mummy mummy that was a ****ty cellphone you gave me.. Maree's mum gave her a sports car for Xmas" Xmas may have some of it's roots in a Christian occation, but it has developed into a time when we are EXPECTED to give. Go Santa! My Xmas gift to everyone is to let them know that i will not become a stesscase trying to get some duty wrapped gift paid for. I will therefore be no more obnoxious than i usually am, and if i celebrate anything, it will be my friends frequently overlooked birthday on the 25th........ She deserves a birthday party, and i'm not going to let Xmas get in the way of celebrating a friends birthday! :p |

I think not, the issue is if he's a dude from the north pole, or a scam created to make us overspend... again. If i could be bothered, there would be a new poll, but as i can't, we are safe. |
