| 680786 | 2008-10-04 19:47:00 | Whatever you do, don't buy HP. My son & his wife, bought one from Harvey Normans, at the end of last year; it gave nothing but trouble, went back 3 times. In the end they got a store credit, got themselves a Toshiba L300. A colleague of mine had exactly the same problem as also someone else I know. I don't know if those last two cases have been resolved. I have heard very good things about Asus's. As for Vista, I heard lots of bad things about it and when I bought my new laptop, I was a bit leery about it. But frankly, I like it. Then again I'm the sort of person easily seduced by eye candy. |
