| 411139 | 2005-12-08 19:02:00 | I've just been looking (or trying to look) around the new Ferrit site that Telecom have spent $15,000,000 setting up and I am way unimpressed. For that amount of money they could have got it to look tidy in Firefox. For that amount of money they could have made it easy to navigate without all the java crap and very outdated look. For that amount of money I would expect something exceptional in the 'online store' department. For that amount of money the guys who designed it must be laughing all the way to the bank. Another bad look for Telecom :-( |

I have tweaked a lot of the display settings on my comp... sites like PF1 look fine, but the Herald and ferrit look like a dog's breakfast (if you've ever had a dog to breakfast you'll know what I mean!) Still doesn't help the fact that Metla could have done a better job for 5 million :p |

Anyhow, Ferrit is only open to retailers to sell to the public, Its what happens when coperate idiots try and jump on the bandwagon. The items listed are from companies that already sell via websites. I can't imagine I would ever buy anything through it, If I wanted to buy off any of the retailers I would just go look on their site, not buy it through Telescam so that they get a cut. |
