681778 2008-06-24 06:05:00 I dont think the PSU will matter, its the CPU fan Speedy Gonzales (78)
681779 2008-06-24 06:58:00 Silverstone or Enermax.

One like this is would be perfect:

I have an Arctic Cooling Hypermaster 212 (i think) that i'm wanting to get rid of. It's a pretty descent low price cpu cooler that is better than original intel fan. PM me if you're interested (looking for $30 or so. RRP is $60)

681780 2008-06-24 22:55:00 Your stock HS should be good for a mild OC. Anything more, I'd recommend the Freezer Pro 7 (www.ascent.co.nz), I wish I'd got it. Cheap, and proven. May be ugly, but who cares?

Or if you want the best, this (www.ascent.co.nz) is pretty much it

What are your overall system specs? Graphics Cards, HDD's etc? And what's your current PSU?

681781 2008-06-25 00:09:00 Silverstone ST50EF-Plus. Goes for $115 at C1com.co.nz

Probably the best 500w you can get. Another one which is cheaper is the Vantec ION2 500w but it is out of stock in New Zealand at the moment. They range around $85-$100.

Shouldn't need third-party cooling unless you want the absolute maximum. Stock cooler will get you the desired 3GHz-3.2GHz and also the 25CM fan on the side of that case will help.

That's not the 250mm fan version. The mid tower has a 140mm I think.

I have the 250mm case, and I'm fairly sure the fan does a grand total of not very much. Gimmick worthy, wish I'd never bought it in a way.
