| 681444 | 2008-06-23 07:56:00 | i recently decided i would use an HP f2100 optical USB mouse for my laptop. i found the mouse i a box of parts, and realising i wont need a cd or driver i plugged it in. Unfortunately the add/remove hardware box appears and cannot find a driver for the mouse to use (huh? its a mouse.....) i tried all three USB slots and no luck...is there something wrong with my laptop? | aidanmaz (7180) | ||

| 681452 | 2008-06-23 09:11:00 | What do you mean one way? The connection or the mouse? Go into device manager / the mouse entry, delete it then reboot |

| 681453 | 2008-06-23 09:17:00 | the connector end has a white bar and a slit, which is opposite on the laptop, so it can technically go one way. | aidanmaz (7180) | ||
