412989 2005-12-15 10:05:00 Anyone know much about these or have had any experience using them?

Where to buy them? Good brands/models? And crap ones too?

Cheers

412990 2005-12-15 12:04:00 I've got a philips DVD player that plays DivX & XviD. It works well, but you can probably find something cheaper. Greven (91)

Could somebody please explain what a "modded" xbox is?
What exactly is/are the modifications?
Easy to do?

:waughh:

Do you have to have a modded xbox to play divx/xvids or will a normal one do the business?

412996 2005-12-19 07:16:00 A normal xbox isn't much use - it can't even play mp3s. You will have to find someone willing to sell & install a mod chip for you, then you can install XBMC & play anything. You will probably want to upgrade the hard drive too. Greven (91)
