681139 2008-06-23 05:22:00 Interesting: mine are(xtra):
DNS primary:202.27.158.40
DNS secondary 202.27.156.72
Are mine not the right ones?
mine are the same as yours

this is my dns table on the router: img502.imageshack.us

i add the .90 entry BEFORE connecting that pc

but

it automatically adds the .64 entry then annoys me some more, i also tried editing that entry but it just forces it self to add another entry using .64.....GRRR :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:

681140 2008-06-23 05:45:00 Did you get this modem from Xnet by any chance??

It looks like its one of their VOIP modem/routers

Whats the version of the firmware?

It looks (www.geekzone.co.nz) like one of the firmware updates for this router screws things up

Dont know if it'll make a diff, whether you buy it or get it from an ISP.

got it from c1 but was covered in xnet stuff

upgraded the firmware to nz version of 2 . 01 . 06 and set it up manually without the disc (the disc screws it up lol)

681144 2008-06-23 06:13:00 Well going by this its a hunk of junk lol (forums.whirlpool.net.au) Speedy Gonzales (78)
681145 2008-06-23 06:31:00 I would take it back / replace it, and get something else / better

I would say its an ongoing issue and it hasnt been fixed, even with firmware. Either here or in Oz

And what are the DNS server addresses for the broadband?
Have a look here (telecom.custhelp.com 3Jvd19jbnQ9MzMmcF9wcm9kcz0yMDImcF9jYXRzPSZwX3B2PSZ wX2N2PSZwX3BhZ2U9MSZwX3NlYXJjaF90ZXh0PWRucyBzZXJ2Z XJz&p_li=&p_topview=1&p_prods=202) , those are the only DNS server addresses I have found at xtra.
